The Gossamer Shoes

The Gossamer Shoes

~ A story of Transformation ~

And so it begins:

 

And inside my heart is a valuable guest:

A wiley old woman

She comes in her droves

In a black chariot

Dust of shadow smoking

All dressed in black

She is serious and concerned

She is distinctive

She is perturbed

Steely-eyed

She isn't easily squashed

She will set the record straight

She shows me her scars

And which battalion she was in 

She shows me her shoes

Heavily treaded with holes and scuff

Very worn

With no rubber insoles

No comfort or rest

She shows me her dress

All black and tattered

For she is "DENIED"

And all she can do is frown

And highlight her woes

All round!!

I tell her a story about gossamer shoes

That sparkles phosphorescence 

(She deeply listens)

And illuminates truth

"And upon these dainty shoes", I say

Are gems and timestamps imprinted into place

And all around

The world swirls

As the evidence is clear

She is about to be transformed

Into cheer

And upon her heartscape

Came millions and trillions of unicorns

To become a place of glory

Amongst the thorns and low places

And to change her thinking

Into one of splendid array 

And she did so with cheer

And upon this day

You will see her walking the market

With a skip and a jump

And a leap, you could say

With newly elevated shoes

On her feet

Spreading good will and cheer

To everyone

And oh what a display

For she could not wipe

The smile off her face

As there was no more dismay

And all along

She had this in her

She just could not comprehend it

 

And to this day

She still smiles in her chair

Where her blessed chariot gleams

All diamonds and purity

A beautiful Bespoke Circuitry

For she is not the same again

And her heart pulses magnificence

Out from her chest

To share goodness and Love now

Into the everyday!!

And so it is, with blessings and love for all of Creation
